Post-Observation Reflection

Deep reflection is the catalyst for growth. Following each observation cycle, I engage in a structured self-assessment to analyze student engagement, instructional methodology, and areas for refinement. This process ensures that feedback is not static but becomes a living component of my professional evolution.

SMARTIE Goals

Strategic, Measurable, Ambitious, Realistic, Time-bound, Inclusive, and Equitable. These goals drive my professional growth and student success through intentional coaching cycles. Use the sections below to document evidence and growth patterns.

Professional Practice Goal

By the end of my special education practicum semester, I will implement and reflect on at least three evidence-based, differentiated instructional strategies to support students with diverse learning needs, including students with IEPs. I will use multiple data sources (e.g., observations, student work, and mentor feedback) to evaluate effectiveness and make instructional adjustments. This goal promotes inclusive, equitable practice by intentionally removing barriers and supporting meaningful participation for all learners.
